Annotated 4-Up Template

Following is an annotated template to use when submitting finished business card designs for printing.

Standard business cards are three and one-half inches wide by two inches high. The template below stacks 4 of these horizontally, and provides a one-quarter- inch gutter on the top, bottom, and each side.

At minimum, your design must leave one quarter-inch on top or bottom for the press to grip. When using bleeds, submit the bleed to overprint the boundaries of the card by at least one-quarter inch. As indicated in the pricing notes section, additional charges apply for bleeds in each direction.
