Envelope and Letterhead Pricing
You can figure out the cost for printing letterhead and envelopes on this page. Here's how:
- First, decide the type of letterhead or envelope you want to print on.
Each stock is described briefly below.
- Each stock has a price code (S-1 through S-5). Note the price code for your

price chart, scan down the first column to locate the row describing
your desired combination of ink or printing type.
- Follow that row to the right until you reach the column for the
amount of letterhead or envelopes you want for your order. This column contains
your base price.
- Now that you have determined your base price, check the
notes table to see if your letterhead or envelope includes additional costs.
- Finally, add 5% sales tax, plus shipping costs.

Prices indicated listed are for standard printing only and exclude any applicable
layout and design costs associated with your final product. Prices also exclude additional
printing charges that may apply.
Additional printing costs may include:
|Registration||Charges apply per set for close (1/8-inch) registration of ink colors
in each direction||$20 per set
|Die charge for foil or embossed cards||Reusable copper die; can withstand over 2000 impressions
|Color bleeds (overprinting) on top, bottom, or either side||Charges apply for
each direction of a bleed; NOT AVAILABLE for foil or blind embossing.||$12 per bleed
|Screened line art or background ghost||You will be notified if this is required
|Second-pass charges||If, to avoid color registration, or to achieve certain effects on your card mixing
flat and raised printing, your job needs to be run through the press a second time, this charge applies.

|Non-standard card size or cutting||Returned uncut||$30
|Laser Shield laser-safe thermography ink additive||Protects printed ink from melting
or smearing in most laser printers and photocopiers. This does affect the color and can dull
the gloss compared to standard thermography.||$20

Copy on any Number 10 envelope will start three-eighths (3/8) of an inch from the top edge,
and three-eighths (3/8) of an inch from the left side. If need be, copy begins three-eighths
(3/8) of an inch from the bottom.
If you require different spacing, you must specify this as special
instructions for your order. Alternatively, if you provide camera-ready artwork (and separations,
as necessary), including registration or positioning marks, your spacing will be honored.
Copy on any letterhead will start three-eighths (3/8) of an inch from the top edge,
and three-eighths (3/8) of an inch from either side. If relevant, copy begins three-eighths
(3/8) of an inch from the bottom.

- Laser Shield laser-safe thermography is available. If you want
Laser Shield, you must specify this as special instructions for your order.
Laser Shield thermography may be used in most copiers and laser
printers without melting. Note the following:
- The finish of thermography treated with Laser Shield is semi-dull
(less glossy than regular thermography).
- Use of Laser Shield may slightly change the tint of standard or
custom colors. Action Graphics is not responsible for any deviations from expected
colors based in customer-specified inclusion of Laser Shield.
